How do I order art services?
After you fill out and send in an Estimate Form, we'll give you a quote within a day by fax or e-mail. If you like our quote, just fill out an Order Form, send it in, and await our confirmation by fax or e-mail containing our promise to provide art services for a described order, at a fixed price, to your full satisfaction.
At this time a 50% deposit is due before we begin work on your order. You simply sign the confirmation and return it back to us with your check or money order by snail-mail. After we receive it, we will begin work immediately on your order.

What are your charges for graphic design services?
We try to estimate each job based on a pre-defined outline of the job. Therefore, each job is figured individually. If you wish to be billed hourly than our rate is $75 per hour and and is billed in fifteen minute increments. Back to the top

How much does a web site cost?
This is usually one of the first questions our potential clients have. Unfortunately, it's also the most difficult to answer without knowing your specific needs. After an initial consultation, we'll be able to give you a figure as to what your web site will cost. Once we're able to more accurately determine the needs and goals of the project, we'll give you a firm quote before any design work begins. Back to the top

What payment plans do you have for your graphic design?
We require one-third downpayment upon signing of a contract with a second one-third payment in the halfway point of the job and the final one-third payment due upon completion of the work. Back to the top

How do I e-mail pictures, photos, pics, etc. to you?
Simply include each picture as an "attachment" file with your e-mail. There may be slight variances to this otherwise simple procedure, but we'll be more than happy to assist you by just letting us know what e-mail software you use. Concerning larger files, you might want to mail the actual pictures or the disk through regular mail. Back to the top

What kind of photos should I send?

Send photos which offer the greatest amount of clarity and detail as possible. Lighting is everything; use photos taken outside or under studio lighting; shadowed elements are difficult to reproduce or print. Close up shots are the best - the closer the subject is, the better. Back to the top

Can you supply art, sketches, photos, cartoons

Yes, we can supply our work in just about any format you need. We can also modify or manipulate your own art and photos, adding effects like 3-D, drop shadowing, vignettes, transparent collages, photo mosaics, interlacing, and many others interesting effects. Back to the top

Is there a way to see my design work in progress?
Web graphics will be uploaded to the server with their own URL (web page address) that you will be given access to view.
All works-in-progress are protected by copyright laws and are copyrighted to Graphic Alibi and are not to be downloaded in anyway. Back to the top

How do I receive my work when it is completed?
Once approval of the images and the remainder payment is received by Graphic Alibi we will upload all of the images directly to your website, in the case of a web related job. But in the case of a printing job, such as business cards or logos, the client will be receiving the digital files (floppy, cd, or zip disk) along with the printed files (business cards, flyers, etc...). You have the option of receiving your full project on floppy disk or CD for an additional cost. Back to the top

What's the difference between Web Design and Web Hosting?

Web Design is the actual process of creating the web pages which will make up your site. Web Hosting involves leasing disk space on a computer where you'll store your web site.
While we specialize in Web Design, we also offer our clients an easy way to address their hosting needs. Back to the top

What do I need to contribute to the design process?

First of all, you probably already have an idea of what you might want your site to look like. You'll also need to write up the text part of what will go on each page. You don't need a concrete idea of what you want just yet - just a good starting point. We'll work with you to produce the rest. Back to the top

Will my site appear properly on all computers?
At Graphic Alibi, we take pride in making sure our sites appear properly on as many browsers and monitor resolutions as possible. We spend a great deal of time testing your site in various versions of Netscape, Internet Explorer, Neoplanet, and AOL browsers, as well as all common screen resolutions. Back to the top

Once the site is finished, how do we handle modifications?
This is entirely up to you. Most of our clients continue to use Us for updates and additions after their sites are completed. You may also take over the site maintenance yourself if desired.
For small updates ther is no fee involved, but for more serious modifications, there is a $50 hourly fee. Back to the top

Suppose I am not all that happy with the design I paid for and want it changed until I'm satisfied?
We believe that "the client is the boss." If you are not completely happy with a particular design, we'll revise it until it meets with your approval. So what if you're picky - we think our own finicky nature helps us better understand the needs and demands of our clients who we'll work hard for to achieve the results they want. Back to the top

Do I own the copyright of the design work Glorious Creations does for me?
Copyright of all images created by Graphic Alibi remain in full ownership of Graphic Alibi. We only transfers to the purchaser a license to use the designs as indicated in the contract. Full copyright to the images requires additional negotion.
It is the client's responsibility to verify that any artwork requested and any original designs given to Graphic Alibi for use in design will not infringe upon any statutory copyright. Back to the top

How long will my work take to complete?
Graphic Alibi will lay out an approximate time of delivery on every job. Rush jobs are billed at an increase of 50%-100% of our normal fee, determined by the schedule and complexity of the job. Back to the top

What if I decide to cancel a design job?
For web design work, the client will be billed according to the time already in the job. A job estimated to take 6 weeks if cancelled in the second week shall be responsible for one-third of the original bill for the hours worked. In the event of cancellation of a fixed project (such as a logo design, business card designs, etc) the client will be responsible for a $100.00 cancellation fee. In the event that the client cancels a project after its completion a cancellation of 50% of the remaining balance shall be administered. Back to the top
