Users that do not meet the minimum system requirements shown above or users of alternate platforms (i.e. iMac computers) will still be able to use the site. However, certain elements may not appear as intended. Testing will be done on multiple platforms and alternate coding and/or redirecting will be utilized to minimize such occurrences.

Design & Development Process

Site Template Design
Images for the overall design element of the site will be created and laid out first and presented to the customer for approval. Once the site's overall design has been agreed upon then a site template will be created so the images, frames and/or table designs can be repeated on all other pages of the site. This will allow for a consistent theme throughout the site.

Navigational Design
The customer must decide on menu choices and navigational paths before menu and secondary page development can begin.

If the optional Interactive Menu System is chosen then Java Applet integration will be required. A Security Class File (Key) must be created and purchased for the registered domain name for the Java Applets to function. Image creation and coding required for this type of menu can be extensive. For this reason, changes after the customer has approved the site's template and navigational designs can require additional charges for added development time.

Browser Independence Integration
Use of Java Scripts for browsers/platform detection will coincide with the creation of work-around pages for browsers that do not support Java. Coding and/or pages to accommodate non-Java use of the site will be included as needed.

Content Integration
Site content is both textual and graphic. Before content integration can begin, the customer must provide all text in electronic form and approve all graphics designed for the site. Once received and approved, the content will be integrated into the site template(s).

Search Engine Integration
The customer must be able to provide descriptions and a list of 1 and 2 word phrases that relate to their business and web site for use as search engine keywords and summaries. We will seed your site with the proper Meta-Tag coding of keywords, descriptions, etc., for submission to search engines. One time submission to the top 5 - 10 search engines is free. On going submissions and updates to over 400 search engines and directories is $100 per URL.

Animation
Graphics animations are a very time consuming effort. Animations should only be added after project completion as an enhancement item, unless required for the overall site design. For this reason, this proposal does not account for any time to manipulate your provided photo content into animated graphics.

Foreign Language Design
If this site is to contain language other than English, the customer must provide the text, in a compatible electronic format. We will not be able to edit or correct any errors in foreign text, so it must be in the proper format when provided.

Maintenance
A single point of contact person (POC) within the customer's company should be designated to handle all issues related to your site. Some time will be devoted to training the POC to update and maintain your site after completion. This will be done free of charge. Arrangements can also be made for BTI to handle the on-going updating and maintenance of your site for an additional fee.

Hosting
The hosting company logo and the design company logo will be placed near the bottom of the site with an alt tag text of "Designed & Hosted By: x". The size, color and placement of this logo will be customized for minimal intrusion upon the site. We will also place your site within our Client Portfolio for the purpose of demonstrating the capabilities and design techniques of our Web Development to future prospective customers.

Changes or additions to the site should be done with our collaboration to maintain the overall theme of the site while being showcased in our Client Portfolio.
